Paper presentation on resilience in former street children

March 25, 2009 -- Executive Director, Dr. Kristin Huang, will have a paper she co-authored with Dr. Priya Nalkur presented March 28th at the Society for Psychological Anthropology’s Biennial Conference in Asilomar, CA.  The paper, Hopefulness in Times of Hardship among Tanzanian Youth, combines Nalkur’s research with at-risk youth in Tanzania with Huang’s experience developing interventions for street children.  Collaboration of this sort highlights Kaya’s efforts to share research findings on a global scale.
