Kaya founder takes advocacy trip to Taiwan

Dec 14, 2008 -- Kaya founder and current Chairman of the Board, Dr. Chi Huang, traveled to Taiwan to speak about his work as an advocate for marginalized children and to spread the word about how Kaya is making a difference for street-involved children today.

During his four-day trip, Dr. Huang spoke at the Lung Ying Tai Cultural Foundation’s Thinker’s Salon and Kaohsiung Medical College where he addressed large groups of students and professionals about children on the streets around the world and the need for a global perspective when addressing this issue.

Dr. Huang also shared a message of abandonment and reconciliation at East Gate Presbyterian Church highlighting the need for social responsibility for the marginalized.

Because of these connections, Kaya is developing some important partnerships with supporters in Taiwan.
