Meet Kaya's Boston Marathon Runner

April 6, 2010 -- Meet Kimberly Kreiling, Kaya Children’s runner for the 114th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 19th. “Part of my personal life statement is to support [Christ-centered] organizations serving the poor in developing countries,” says Kimberly, who works with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship on the Harvard University campus. So when she heard an announcement about running for Kaya, she jumped on the opportunity.

Kimberly has been running since junior high and has previously completed a half-marathon. She really wants to encourage people through this opportunity to keep the kids in Bolivia in our thoughts and prayers, and to serve them with whatever gifts and talents we have. We are so excited that Kimberly will be running for us and will be cheering her on as she runs the marathon!
