“Working with Kaya, I learned just how much can be accomplished, with a common vision, across two different cultures. You learn to work in and through cultural differences for the sake of a greater cause. It’s quite incredible.â€

Kaya Clubs

Start or Join a Kaya Club!

A Kaya Club is a small group of people committed to supporting our work with street children through volunteering and raising awareness. These groups are designed to operate within existing networks such as church groups, student organizations, professional associations or simply a group of committed friends.

What does a Kaya Club do?

  • Meet together once a month and determine ways you can get the word out about the needs of street children in Bolivia and around the world;
  • Plan events that promote our work;
  • Help us with specific projects, mass mailings and administrative work;
  • Help us get our message out via the web and social technologies;
  • Give us suggestions for other volunteer opportunities.

How do I start a Kaya Club?

Think about the sort of networks in which you are already involved and organize interested people. This could include:

  • A Sunday School class or Bible Study group interested in outreach opportunities;
  • A student group at a university looking to volunteer and advocate for social issues;
  • A community organization or a business that adopts social causes;
  • A group of friends interested in investing free time to help street children.
